Waldorf Cambridge is a growing, non-selective, co-educational independent school and is part of the Waldorf UK.
We provide a dynamic and progressive education for children aged 2 to 16 years. Situated on a single site, located on the outskirts of Cambridge in the delightful village of Fulbourn, we welcome children from all over Cambridgeshire and beyond.
We strive to give children the gift of an education that will nourish the whole life of the child. To this end, the academic, social, moral, and spiritual growth of every child is held as a central objective of our education. Children’s capacities and personal abilities are helped to unfold by providing them with a rich and carefully planned curriculum that enhances their own natural developmental growth.

Landmark Study Praises Steiner Waldorf Schools in England A major study from the University of Worcester celebrates the "significant educational transformation" of Steiner Waldorf schools in England. Once under tough scrutiny, Waldorf schools have turned criticism into constructive change creating thriving, creative, and inclusive learning environments. Key Findings: Rich & creative curricula Strong progress in reading, maths, art & languages Outstanding Early Years provision Positive parent–teacher relationships Robust safeguarding & nurturing school environments Fran Russell, Executive Director of Waldorf UK, says: "The Ofsted criticisms were tough, leading to deep soul-searching and a wholesale review of our educational provision. In turn this has led to new leadership structures, vastly improved professional development, and a new curriculum framework." As concerns grow about the pressures of today's education system, Waldorf schools show how a balanced, creative approach can ease anxiety, spark joy in learning, and help children truly thrive.
